Revolutions of 1432 (Poem)

Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria,
Libya and Bahrain,
Yemen, Morocco, Palestine –
Their pain is our pain.
Gruesome images, bloody scenes
Tear at every heart
Severed limbs all over the page
Mutilated, torn apart.
Eyes widen in utter horror,
Transfixed upon the sights.
Our hearts beat ever faster,
Watching the fight for rights.
They're calling out for justice,
Hear them far and wide,
Their cries have reached every corner
Despite attempts to crush their side.
What are we doing, sitting in our houses,
Relaxing in comfort and peace?
Anything to help these nations' people
Overthrow the lovers of Iblees?
Remember to pray for them often,
Spread the word of truth,
Take a stand against oppression,
To shake the tyrants' grips loose.
But don't stop praying just then –
After the storm goes away,
Pray for true wisdom and guidance
To light their new pathway.

Hello

Good morning everyone. I haven't been here for ages. Since I finished studying the five weeks in the Advanced level I didn't write anything. I'm a bit lazy to write after I has been started studying the degree. Right now, I approximately finished 6 weeks of the first term and I'm doing very well. I had 2 tests and 1 assignment till now. More work waiting for me after the 2 weeks break holiday " Easter Holiday ".

Good luck for all.

My last workplace

In the last few years lots of companies started using new technology to protect their property from thieves or even terrorists. I worked in a small security systems company as a contractor for a big oil company at home. After September 11, 2001 events, that company started installing new technology like cameras, microwave sensors, and optical fibers on the fences.

Of course, in any job you will have advantages and disadvantages. I was working as technician with different people from many countries who speaks English natively. That motivated me to work as much as I could. Besides that, I learned lots of new information that related to security and improved my English language. I overcome fear and I learned to trust myself, and to speak very clear.

On the other hand, one of the biggest problems that I faced was the hours. Some days I worked until midnight and I was not able to concentrate well. The pressure left me so exhausted, but it was a great experience to deal with situations like that at my age.

I had been working for two departments. Following orders from two sides create a lot of challenges for me. The main company stresses on our company to perform the work as fast as we could. That made us nervous, because we were trying our best.

However, I liked me last job and I hope to work in the same field in the future. The computing field does not have limits. Every day there is something new so that keeps me excited having chosen computing as my specialty subject.

Thanks for Mr. Dan Sperber

last night dinner

Hi everyone

I planned with my friend Qasim to cook something last night instead of normal things we used to ate as a dinner for the last few weeks. Our meal was a macaroni with beef mince. I was a guest in my friends apartment, however, I cooked the dinner for them.

At the end, my friends liked it and said it was very delicious. Now, my mam can be proud of me hahaha.

What a nice week to spend with that couple ( ^ _ ^ )

I wanna send my greetings and thanks to Marcus and Hilary for their work hard. It was a pleasure for me to work with them last week for four days through the additional week for the TVTC students. Actually, if I keep talking about them that won't be enough.

Through the past four days I learned some new vocabulary, phrases and phrasal verbs. Also, I hope that I gave a good presentation for my audience and I promise it is gonna be much better next time.

Marcus and Hilary, merry Christmas for you and have a nice holiday.
